Homestyle, relaxed, comforting Japanese Cafe Mitsuhiro Yamamura was born in Tokyo in 1981. He learned cooking in school and worked as a cooking teacher for 7 years. He moved to Vancouver in 2010. He got great experiences at Ichirotei, Cincin, Baobai, and Shuraku. After his great journey for 7 years, Yama cafe opened its door in 2017. One of our goals is to introduce our customers and friends to Japanese Washoku (Japanese Food) culture, which has been registered by UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
